MY SEPHORA EDIT đź’‹

Hi Friends! If you’re here, you know I can’t pass up a sale, but given the time we’re in (I’m currently working on a new post about how tariffs are going to affect the psychology of beauty marketing), coupled with the fact I’ve been trying to downsize my beauty drawer, I took a hard look and only bought products based on the questions I always ask myself:

  1. Is there a product I already have that does a similar job? 🤔

  2. How will I feel when using this product? (i.e. is the marketing around it aligned with my values?) 🧠

  3. Can I wait for six months until the Fall sale? ⏳

After evaluating my own answers, these are the four products I landed on! Hope this helps us all consume a little more consciously 🙏🏾

ILIA Skin Tint

I’ve been trying to slowly switch over to clean beauty, and this skin tint was on my list. I was an adopter of the OG Laura Mercier skin tint, but in wanting a clean formula, I sampled this a bit at Sephora, and really think I’m going to love it going into Summer! Will keep you posted.

KIEHL’S Moisturizer

Makeup by Mario got me onto this nearly 12 years ago and I haven’t looked back! It’s the BEST moisturizer and primer base for makeup - period. Nothing I’ve tried comes close and it’s definitely the most consistent repurchase in my daily routine over the years!

KOSAS Eyebrow Pencil

I’ve been loving their concealer SO much and since I just ran out of my latest brow pencil, I wanted to try one in the clean beauty sector. My go to one that I absolutely love is the Hourglass Brow Pencil (which also isn’t in the clean category), so we’ll see how this one compares!

LAWLESS Lip Gloss

This has been my absolute favorite gloss for the past year! I’m obsessed with minis and this little mini set has Velvet which is the perfect brown girl nude/pink (srsly, I’ve been through two full sized tubes of it) and also comes with a sparkly shade Pixie. Both are great year round as toppers!
